Today I invite you to re-claim and embrace your internal intuitive power.
We live in an era of instant feedback, and as a result we can often feel bombarded and even addicted to external validation and insight.
Maybe, like me, you find yourself relying on how many Facebook or Instagram likes you get to feel important, liked and loved.
Or perhaps, also like me, you find yourself constantly seeking out the next healer or doctor to fix you. Or turning to friends for advice on what to do.
If you recognize yourself constantly turning to external sources to help you feel loved and healed or to give you guidance and direction, then I invite you read on and discover how to re-claim and own the power of your own internal guidance system.
For the past 2 1/2 years I have sought out the advice of countless alternative healers, psychics, doctors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, friends, and chiropractors to tell me what was wrong with me, to find out why I wasn't getting pregnant, to fix me.
Then in October of last year I finally had surgery to remove endometriosis that was thought to have been causing structural blocks to conceiving.
For the first few months after surgery I continued to do acupuncture, and then in February I began seeing an integrative medicine doctor. All of this in a still continued attempt to conceive.
I had blood and hormone tests done, and essentially everything came back good and normal.
Initially when I heard this news I felt angry and frustrated. And then immediately after I had the deep internal peace with the recognition of: What if nothing is wrong with me???? What if this is simply the journey I'm on for my growth, to assist me in softening control, to assist me in inviting and allowing the divine to guide me instead of trying to constantly force what I think my life should look like?
As mentioned in the video above, your body is your greatest feedback mechanism, it simply asks that we take time to slow down so that we can listen.
How does it feel in your body when you affirm: There is nothing wrong with me. I do not need to be fixed.
And then how does it feel to affirm: I should rely on someone outside of myself to tell me what is wrong with me and what about me needs to be fixed.
Which statement leaves your body feeling expanded? Which statement leaves your body feeling contracted and tight?
What if this is your bodies way of offering you guidance and assisting you in connecting with your truth? A sense of ease and expansion signaling truth and resonance, and a sense of contraction, worry and concern signaling that something is not true for you or does not resonate.
The more time we take to slow down and relax our over stimulated nervous systems, the more connected we become with our internal feedback, the more we trust our gut instincts and intuition.
There is nothing wrong with you, there is simply a yearning from the innocence of your own heart, mind, body and soul for you to turn to yourself for guidance, feedback and support. All that you desire, all that you seek, dwells within you.
I would love to hear from you! What would you like to hear/see more of? What insight did you receive from todays message?
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
