Personally I feel as though I’ve been trudging through quicksand for the past few days. Feeling bogged down in a perpetual state of inner confusion and fogginess. Feeling the paralyzing grip of fear, hesitation and self doubt.
Can you relate to any of this?
When we experience days or weeks in this state it can be easy to shift into the internal turmoil of “Whats wrong with me? Why do I feel this way? Who is to blame?”
I don’t know about you but I love to go into the why. And when I am focusing on finding a why I put my mind on a wild goose chase. For as long as I am focused on needing to know why my mind will find endless reasons. “I feel this way because of my partner. I feel this way because of the retrograde. I feel this way because because of the planetary retrograde, I feel this way because.........”
If you’re like me and have spent any time in this mind frame you know how exhausting and often futile it can be.
Read on to discover the new perspectives that will assist you in navigating life when the waters get turbulent and choppy....
Here are the 3 tools that I call on to assist me when I find myself in days of self loathing funk :
1. Shifting out of the need to know “WHY?”
Allow yourself to recognize the aspect of you inner child that is wanting to know why. Acknowledge her desire to have an understanding of why something is happening. Explore offering her the following dialogue: “I acknowledge your desire to know why this is happening. I’m so sorry for your suffering. While I can’t tell you why this is happening, I can be here for you to love you through this as never before. I can be here to listen to you. I can be here to console and soothe you as we experience this together.”
2. Identify what your inner child is feeling.
Perhaps it’s fear of moving forward into uncharted territory. Maybe it’s exhaustion. Perhaps it’s
self doubt. Identify what you are feeling and then take time to connect with and nurture that aspect of you arising. “I see you. I acknowledge what your feeling. I honor what you are feeling. How can I support you? What do you need from me? I am here for you. I love you. I love you. I love you.”
3. Offer blessings
Once you have identified what you are feeling, take time to identify the words you are needing or wanting to hear. Is it: “You are successful! You are talented! You have something important to share with this world!”
Or perhaps explore what it is you are wanting to feel. Motivated? Abundant? A sense of inner peace? Greater faith or trust?
Then take concentrated time to offer these very words to the innocence of your own heart.
Once these words have been offered to your own heart, I then invite you to begin offering these very words in a for of a blessing to all of humanity.
While driving, or on social media, offer “May you be blessed with......(insert the very words you are wanting to hear or feel.)
This practice of blessing the world with what we want to see or experience in our own life has a profound effect in shifting you into your infinite power.
